Common Coffee Roasters is operated by husband and wife duo, Jared and Molly Holt. We currently reside in Huntington, WV. Jared has more than 12 years in the specialty coffee industry. Molly is a personal trainer with expertise in functional fitness.

We offer the highest quality coffee, roasted with the intention of highlighting it's natural flavor while bridging the gap between a specialty product and a common routine. We have experience with the highest level of specialty coffee, while also understanding the practical implications of this morning ritual.

Coffee can be something more than a morning necessity. It can be something that bridges gaps and broadens our perspectives. It has been an avenue for us to know our neighbors. Coffee gives us an opportunity to find what is common among us. We desire to see good done in our neighborhood, city and elsewhere. 3% of profits go to charitable organizations.

Coffee is a common ritual for most people, but not all coffee is created equally. From the farm, to our roastery, many hands affect the outcome. We exist to highlight unique nuances with this familiar product, all while exploring what is common among us.    

What is specialty coffee?

 Coffee is the seed of a fruit, and takes on flavors from that fruit and the surrounding environment. Once it’s grown and harvested, it’s then processed by various methods, either imparting more flavors through means of fermentation, or clarifying the already existing flavors through washing. This intentionality highlights flavors not commonly found in most store bought coffee.
